New Cable Lockdowns - For PC & Flat Panel Combinations ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Laptops have had the micro security slot as standard equipment for some time, but now we see the trend widening so that virtually all flat panel displays, all Macs and many peripheral devices also have the slot. At the same time, many manufacturers are including a locking ring on their CPUs. These changes allow us to secure workstations without the necessity of intrusive glue-on brackets. We have designed a number of custom lockdown kits for use with rings and the micro security slot as for example for use with a CPU with a ring and a flat panel monitor combination.
